Consumer Technology Association Hosts ÓÀÐǶij¡ Virtual Press Conference

The final official media event on the road to ÓÀÐǶij¡ 2025 delivered key announcements and insights for the world’s most powerful tech event
In case you missed it, yesterday, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® hosted the ÓÀÐǶij¡Â® Virtual Press Conference, providing media an exclusive preview of what’s to come at the world’s most powerful tech event. With ÓÀÐǶij¡ 2025 just weeks away, the press conference covered announcements, themes, and logistical information to help media plan their trip to Las Vegas in January.

During the press conference, CTA announced Waymo co-CEO Tekedra N. Mawakana will keynote the ÓÀÐǶij¡ 2025 Leaders in Technology (LIT) Dinner on Wednesday, January 8. Ed Ludlow, co-host of Bloomberg Technology, will interview Mawakana about Waymo’s role in sustainable transportation, roadway safety, and the future of mobility. This exclusive, invitation-only event brings together technology industry luminaries, including policymakers, technologists, media, and entrepreneurs.Â
CTA also announced a partnership with the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Inc. (CFDA), a not-for-profit trade association founded in 1962 with a membership of 428 of America’s foremost womenswear, menswear, jewelry, and accessory designers. At ÓÀÐǶij¡ 2025, CFDA CEO Steven Kolb will join APL founders, Adam Goldston and Ryan Goldston, to discuss how merging tech and fashion revolutionizes performance footwear and redefines style. The session titled “Stepping Into Innovation: The Founders Behind APL and Building A Luxury Brand†takes place on Wednesday, January 8 at the Venetian.Â

[08:40] Renovations at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) changes entrances and pedestrian flow in some areas. While there won’t be any active construction during ÓÀÐǶij¡, attendees should plan extra time to navigate.Â

South Hall returns with tech and accessories! New spaces include the ÓÀÐǶij¡ Creator Space in Central Hall Lobby at LVCC and the Central Plaza Attendee Lounge. C Space® at ARIA is a hub for the CMO community, while the Venetian features an upgraded Digital Health floor and Eureka Park for startups.Â
